The Night Before (7-9pm): If you are able to make your way into town the night before, come join us at George's Greek Cafe for a dinner celebrating the birthplace of sirens, ancient Greece.
Day #1 - Bollywood Starlet
9am-3pm for basic session (elective evening activities end around 10pm)
- Continental Breakfast (8-9am): For our sleepover Bali beauties
- Beauty & Bounty (9-11am): Welcome खूबसूरत औरत. Our first day together begins with an exploration of the joyful, beautiful and bountiful world of Bollywood. We will travel across the globe and the centuries as we track the evolution of this unique and hugely popular Eastern art form. Includes a mid-morning Monsooned Malabar coffee break

- Costume Lunch Break (11am-12noon): Enjoy light Indian-inspired California Cuisine as you put together your look and accessories for tonight's photo session and performance
- Craft Keepsake (12-1pm): Before we take on our big Bollywood show-stopping number, we'll relax a bit and get crafty, creating Diwali diyas paper lanterns
- You got the part! (1-3pm) Join in the fun of a Bollywood musical number as a dancer, singer, or native instrument player. Singers wil have a separate session where they will learn the language and lyrics of our performance song. Includes a mid-segment Masala chai tea break
- Afternoon Respite & Bollywood Starlet Transformation (3-6pm): Take this time to enjoy any of the following
- Treat yourself to a traditional Henna hand dye design spa treatment
- Practice our musical number
- Put your bare feet up and rest a bit

- Hooray for Bollywood Performance (7-7:30pm): In the spirit of Bollywood cinema, all you need to is have jubilant fun!
- Jashan Dinner (7:30-10pm): We will keep the celebration going by having dinner family-style at Natraj, a locally favorite Indian restaurant. Feel free to wear your Bali finery!
- Just a little Bali more: For those staying the night who are too excited to go to sleep just yet, we will wind down watching a few clips of the biggest and best Bollywood film clips
Day #2 - Roaring 20's Flapper
9am-3pm for basic session (elective evening activities end around 10pm)
- Continental Breakfast (8-9am): For our overnight rabble rousers
- It's the 20's, Hear Us Roar! (9-11am): Know the password? If so, come on in and get the skinny on the heppest gals of the last century, the free-wheeling fun-loving flappers. Includes a mid-morning cuppa jo break
- Luncheon Excursion (11am-2pm): Make the best of Prohibition by partaking of one of the 20's most popular pastimes, making root beer at Brewbakers. We will also make pretzels and nosh as we bottle our brew and design a custom group bottle label together. Includes 2 bottles per guest
- GinJoint Activity Options (2-3:30pm): Enjoy the 1920's pastimes that were all the rage: Mah jong and crossword puzzles; watch a classic jazz age motion picture; or learn our Charleston dance routine for tonight's performance
- Afternoon Respite & Flapper Transformation (3-6pm): Take this time to enjoy any of the following
- Treat yourself to a a 1920's Pond's Cold Cream facial & instant teeth whitening spa treatments
- Take a few moments to work on your Charleston dance moves
- Put your feet up and rest a bit

- Speakeasy Reception & Photo Session (6-7pm): Sip gin from a teacup (well, more like ginger ale) & nibble speakeasy appetizers while waiting for your turn to pose for a Professional Photography Shoot in your Flapper finery
- 'It's a Lapazoo' Performance (7-7:30pm): Time to knock those knees & kick up those heels doing the ♫ Charleston, Charleston... duh duh duh duh Charleston ♫
- Jazz Age Dinner (7:30-9pm): Tonight we sup onsite with a fine dining menu straight from the 20's (...not to worry, the food itself has not been around since the 20's)
- Flap Mob (9-10): For those staying the night who are feeling too raucous to go to sleep just yet, we may play pranksters and stage a flapper flash mob Charleston at the local watering hole
Day #3 - Japanese Geisha
9am-3:30pm for basic session (elective evening activities end around 10pm)
- Continental Breakfast (8-9am): For our overnight Maiko
- Cherry Blossoms (9-11am): It's time to bloom would-be Geisha girl. This morning we will waste no time in teaching you the ways and meaning of the geisha life. Leave your preconceptions and your shoes at the door please. Includes a mid-morning Sencha tea break
- Brief Bento Lunch (11am-12noon): During lunch you may pick your accoutrements for today's Japanese Garden photo shoot. We will provide shoulder wraps for headshot photos. Given the their value & cost, we regret we cannot provide traditional Japanese kimono for each of you, though you are encouraged to bring your own, or we can arrange to order one in advance for you
- Geisha Transformation (12-2pm) We will walk you through the entire process of turning yourself into a living porcelain doll including each step of make-up application
- Ground transport (2-2:30pm)
- Japanese Garden Photo Shoot (2:30-3:30pm): We will visit an actual Japanese garden and koi pond for photos, taking time to feed the fish and enjoy the manicured beauty
- Ground transport (3:30-4pm)
- Japanese Tea Ceremony (4-5:30pm): Back at our ochaya you will not only learn about the tea ceremony, you will perform it. This is a very abbreviated version - the full ceremony takes hours to complete and years to master
- 夜の休息 - Evening Respite (5:30-7pm): Take some time to get off your okobo (those high wooden shoes) and relax. Perhaps you'd like to play Mahjong with a fellow Maiko, or indulge in a Shiatsu Massage spa treatment. If you want to take a nap as the traditional geisha do, you would do so by resting your neck on a takamakura ... think elevated wooden block
- Gift Craft (7-8pm): In preparation of our ozashiki banquet tonight, we will create some custom gifts to be presented to our guests (each other!)
- Ozashiki Banquet (8-9:30pm): Tonight you will follow along as we serve one another according to the custom of the ochaya, just as a geisha would her guests
- Sonogo (Afterward): For junior geisha too excited from their success to go to sleep just yet, we may wind down watching Memoirs of a Geisha
Day #4 - Pin-Up Girl
9am-3pm for basic session (elective evening activities end around 10pm)
- It's the most important meal of the day (8-9am): For our overnight pin-ups
- Hot Mommas & Apple Pie (9-11am): Reveille! Nothing gave our boys in blue the will to hang on and make it back home like the beautiful women waiting stateside for them. And there were few reminders as iconic as the pin-up photo. Go back with us to the fabulous 40's, a time of great courage and great music. We will conduct our morning lesson as we bake apple pie, from scratch, of course. Includes a mid-morning coffee cake break... we're saving the pie for lunch!
- PicKnit Lunch Break (11am-1pm): We're off to the park for a leisurely lunch, during which we will have a knitting session to create beret keepsakes, pompn optional; if you'd like to stretch your gams a bit, feel free to play horseshoes or 'Frisbie'... we'll need our apple pie tins for that
- Sing & Swing Time (1-2:30pm): Get ready to boogie woogie and wiggle at our 1940's song and dance session. Choose to sing harmonies or jitter like a bug. These will be the basis of our performance later. Includes a mid-segment Snickers cookies & tea break
- Afternoon Respite & Pin-Up Transformation (2:30-5pm): Take this time to enjoy any of the following
- Treat yourself to a Mayonnaise hair treatment
- Practice your musical number
- Put your dogs up and rest a bit
- Primp for your evening performance
- Professional hair & makeup, available from 3-5pm
- Calendar Girl Cocktail Reception & Photo Session (5-6pm): Mix and mingle while waiting for your turn to pose for a Professional Photography Shoot in your Pin-Up garb. While you're at it, why not have 12 photos taken and create a calendar?
- Pin-Up performance (6-6:30pm): Time to flaunt your perfect victory roll hairdo and kohl-lined eyes with your sister pin-ups. Whether as a singer, dancer or applauder in the audience, come be-bop with us
- Supper Club (6:30-9:00pm): We will join the nightlife out on the town for dinner at The Sky Room. They close at 9pm on weekdays... most likely because of wartime curfew
- Pajama Party (9-?): For our for our overnight pin-ups... throw on your p.j.'s, break out the hair curlers and slather on an avocado facial mask... we'll make the popcorn and grab a film noir movie
9am-3pm for basic session (elective evening activities end around 10pm)
- Continental Breakfast (8-9am): For our overnight artistes
- le Jardin de Paris (9-11am): This morning we visit Montmartre, home of the world famous Moulin Rouge. Here we will share the realities, both harsh and heavenly, of la vie boheme. Includes a mid-morning cafe au lait break
- Costume & Kebab Lunch Break (11am-12noon): Enjoy a typical Montmartiste lunch. Dancers may also start to put together their ensembles for tonight's photo session and performance
- Craft Keepsake (12-1pm): As you linger over lunch, feel free to create a keepsake of your visit -- either by fashioning a feather hair accessory or mixing your own signature scent parfum, 'eau de toi'!
- Yes You Can Can! (1-3pm): There are a variété of ways to be a part of the spectacle at the Moulin Rouge. Choose to learn a Can-Can routine, take a Toulouse-Lautrec tribute art class or learn a torch song en français. Each class will be held in a separate space so as to avoid la confusion. Includes a mid-segment pause gourmande
- Afternoon Respite & Artiste Transformation (3-6pm): Take this time to enjoy any of the following
- Treat yourself to a traditional Orchidée Impérialesque facial (a loving nod to the Guerlin treatment costing beaucoup!)
- Practice your musical number

- Red Windmill Reception & Photo Session (6-7pm): Crack open the Champagne and break out the brie while rubbing elbows with your fellow artistes or waiting for your turn to pose for a Professional Photography Shoot in your CanCan accoutrements
- Revue Joyeuse performance (7-7:30pm): Grab your songbook, your sketchbook or your can-can skirt to kick up your heels at the cabaret. Whether as a singer, dancer or patron artiste come paint the town rouge with us
- le Diner Boheme (7:30-9:30pm): We will join the nightlife out on the town for dinner at La Creperie Bohemian Bistro & Bar... you will find the decor tres magnifique!
- Un film dans la soirée: For our night owls, enjoy the end of your evening by watching, what else, Moulin Rouge!
Day #6 - Classic Burly-Q Bombshell
9am-3pm for basic session (elective evening activities end around 10pm)
- Continental Breakfast (8-9am): For our overnight sensation bombshells
- Burly-Q&A (9-11am): We will start the day with a little history as to what Burlesque was during its Golden Age... and more important, what it was not! You will find no poles nor laps with which to dance or bump and grind here. What you will find is a playful style of stage presence which can be translated into your own life. You'll learn how to carry yourself with confident ease and elegant grace. And learn to flirt like crazy with your man. Includes a mid-morning cuppa jo break
- Ladies' Luncheon Break (11am-12noon): Savor the flavors of the era with table service becoming of ladies who lunch. In old school tea room style, models will sashay around us as we dine, showing off the fashions of the day
- Glamover (12-1pm): This is your chance to define and create your own irresistibly glamorous look, not only for tonight's photo shoot, but for any occasion thereafter. We will share time-honored tips and tricks of the trade, including those used by Hollywood starlets over the last century. Please be sure to bring everything in your arsenal from your most flattering dress to your most feminine undergarments -- the more outrageous the better. And feel free to dip into our stock of rhinestones, pearls, feathers and bling to add some pizazz to your evening ensemble. We can't wait to see what you come up with
- Vavoom (1-3pm) Fasten your garters, you're in for quite a ride as you learn to sashay, shimmy, strut and own the stage. We will put together some basic move combinations for you to use in your own routine this evening; and we'll help you find your own signature style and moves. Includes a mid-segment break.
- Afternoon Respite & Bombshell Transformation (3-6pm): Take this time to do whatever you darn well please - after all, you're a star!
- Once you've peeled off your gloves all eyes will be on your mesmerizing hands. Treat yourself to a fabulous classic manicure &/or pedicure
- Or you may take a few moments to fine tune your act
- Or put your feet up and rest a bit and luxuriate in a bombshell bubble bath with a couple of cool cucumber slices on your eyes
- Then primp, paint and push-up to get you looking stage star stunning prior to your evening performance
